Carrageenan
Carrageenan is a sulphated polysaccharide primarily obtained from red Seaweed. It is an important ingredient that in combination with other Gums/additives provides desired texture and quality to various food / Non-food products. We manufacture different grades of carrageenan for applications as listed below.

Meat Application
- Increased binding potential for fat and meat proteins.
- High Moisture retention capacity.
- Lowers cooking loss and thus increases yield of the product.
- Provides smooth texture without affecting product quality.
Beer Application
- Used for Vegan Beer manufacturing
- Reduces filtration time.
- Provides higher kettle capacity as a result of faster flocculation of haze-causing particles.
- Reduces cost as less filter aid is used.
Ice cream Application
- Provide wide range of mouthfeel from clean and low viscosity to rich full bodied flavored milk.
- It provides high particle suspension to avoid particle sedimentation.
- For ice cream when used with other hydrocolloids provides very creamy and smooth texture.
Water Dessert Jelly Application / Confectionary
- It imparts proper binding of water and helps to reduce syneresis.
- Provide smooth texture with elasticity.
- Enhances flavor release of the product.
Processed Cheese Application
- Increases Overall Yield of the product.
- Improves curd slicing property and reduces its syneresis.
- Helps to improve thickening property in Buttermilk.
